Duetto: Dubai Creek Harbour

Emaar

Duetto is a dual-tower residential development designed for Emaar Properties, one of the foremost real estate development companies in the UAE and the world. Located on the last empty plot in Dubai Creek Harbour, the project establishes a gateway to the Harbour and adds richness to Dubai's skyline.

Urban Gesture

At the base of the site, a three-level podium forms an elevated counterpoint to the Marina, with a landscaped edge that slopes up from the waterfront promenade, drawing the eye to its curvilinear form. On the east, a circular fountain plaza carved into the podium creates a powerful sense of arrival, with vehicular access to two levels of parking below and access to the towers via a central lobby joining the towers at the plaza level.

Life at Duetto

West of the towers, an array of indoor amenity and outdoor garden spaces animate the uppermost level of the podium, fronting the bay with views toward downtown Dubai and the sanctuary beyond. Glimpsed from the residences above, the podium’s rich topography becomes the foreground to exciting views of the Dubai skyline and immediate urban context.

Ground and Sky

The manner in which the towers rise from the ground is as important as the way they meet the sky. Each building features a pair of distinctive conoid carvings: one facing inward at the base, the other facing outward at the top. The inward-facing carvings connect the towers to the circular arrival plaza, engaging tower and podium at the primary point of arrival, while the outward-facing carvings at the top give the pair a memorable, iconic silhouette from afar

Al Khuwair Downtown District

This masterplan provides a vision for a minimally invasive and environmentally resilient new downtown district of Muscat where the Wadi meets the sea. Freshwater and saltwater ecologies entwine to form a waterfront promenade that activates the embassy district and extends a peninsula neighborhood into the bay. Diverse histories, geographies and futures form a new urban infrastructure for Oman.
